Maghi Memorial College for Women, Amloh is a symbol of national unity and religious harmony. The college is a gift of Numberdar Maghi. The college was established by respected Late Justic Ujagar Singh, Late Shri Harbans Lal Pajni, Late Shri Hans Raj Jindal, Late Shri Nahar Chand Jindal, Late Shri Hans Raj Bedi and S. Tejwant Singh Advocate in the year 1995-96. The college is affiliated to Punjabi university. Maghi Memorial College for Women is there to provide to the rural youth educational opportunities that emphasizes skills and knowledge. The college is situated on Khaninan road, Amloh.The collegeis multi-faculty institution in the fond memories of Numberdar Maghi.
It is housed in a magnificent building of its own with Home science lab, Music lab, computer labs, Dress Designing lab, Meeting hall, play grounds, reading room and common room. There are many facilities for the students like NCC wing, NSS unit, youth welfare club, Red cross Society, Computer Education, Old Student Association, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Canteen Etc. The college has a big Auditorium where all functions and cultural programs are organized the students are given transportation facility also having CCTV cameras.
The College offer degree courses: B.A, B.C.A, B.Com as well as post graduates course P.G.D.C.A (for B.A students also). Besides these,the following subjects are offered Elective (English, Hindi and Punjabi), Political Science, History, Home Science, Computer Science, Sociology and Economics.
