Extra Curricular Activities
NCC
The NCC unit of the MMCW offers considerable scope for stimulating discipline and adventure. The NCC unit comes under 4PB girls BN NCC Patiala. Enrolment in NCC depends upon physical fitness of the cadets for military training. A student can be a NCC cadet maximum for 3 year. During this period student got opportunities to attend training camps and specialized camp like Advance Leadership ,Mountaineering and other inter-state camps. NCC cadets are trained to qualify B and C certificate exams. Students holding “C” certificate are given priority in section as an officer in Army, Airforce, Navy and Police.
Under NCC, training for drill, weapon training, civil defence, first aid, hacking tracking etc. are given to cadets.
Students holding “B” and “C” certificate are given incentives and additional weightage in various professional and higher classes for admission.
NSS
Objectives:
• To enrich the student’s personality and deepen her understanding of the social environment in which she lives.
• To develop socio economic awareness and encourage the students to impart the same to the illiterate community of the area adopted.
• To develop socio economic activities designed to tackle social problems.
